3D PRINTING

3D printing is currently one of the most popular and the most affordable method of making prototypes or low-volume production of small parts. A wide range of applications and an equally wide range of production materials allows even for an unlimited production capacity, often exceeding the possibility of making an element, which could not be performed on a multi-axis machining center.

Today, Rebel-Rocet is in possession of a FDM printer allowing the implementation of most of the actions taken by us. We have been using the device for almost two years and we are very pleased with it. The quality of prints does not differ from other printers available on the market. The most frequently implemented tasks within 3D printing are the prototyping of electronic device shields, printing of covers and holders of industrial sensors, printing of repair kit elements (hinges, snaps etc.) and occasional artistic prints.

Everyone who is interested in the possibility of printing, however, warns against a number of disadvantages of the print technology described above, but we also add a number of advantages in a single statement:

ADVANTAGES:

  • against the popular opinion not everything can be printed due to some limitations of this technology
  • large elements (even though they fit in the work area) must be divided on a smaller series and then after printing, connect together in a separate process.
  • depending on the preferred print quality, you have to spend a lot of time and effort on post-processing, that is all these activities related to, for example, sanding the element or cutting off the unnecessary material so-called. supports during printing.
  • print elements always have their non-linear tolerances - this is due to material contraction during printing.
  • sometimes the printout has to be repeated many times - it results from setting conditions and print parameters in relation to the geometry entrusted to us
  • print price - materials are relatively cheap and easily available on the market.
  • in the case of simple geometries, the print speed exceeds expectations.
  • if post-processing is not required, all of the work comes down to several procedural steps.
  • a wide range of materials
  • durability of the product close to the final element (in the case of plastics)
  • relative savings in relation to the implementation of certain elements, eg by multi-axis machining methods.
  • resistance to external conditions - depending on the material used.

Proper prints consist of three key factors, ie the right device, carefully selected filament and, of course, the skills of the programmer / printer operator.

Since the key policy of our activities is to work primarily with Polish suppliers of equipment and materials that meet the highest market standards, we cooperate with the Silesian producer Finnotech in the field of filaments. The company's filaments are one of the best on the market, ie they do not stratify, they are always "fresh", ie they quickly rotate in warehouses, which prevents material degradation even on the reel and what is important before printing. Below we present a reference palette of available colors (note some colors are not available depending on the material used).

Orders and realizations are priced individually by us depending on many factors, therefore we invite all interested parties to contact us and send the model for the purpose of a precise valuation and estimated time of completion. If you have special preferences regarding printouts, we also ask you for this information when submitting your request, although our specialists will certainly carry out a detailed survey needed to prepare the offer.
